If you book a course or a masterclass, you do so on our separate booking and masterclass sites, which have their own privacy information because they also handle payments.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with companies that help us run the website and reply to you, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Thundercloud, our website host, which stores the site and form submissions on its servers in London, United Kingdom
- Google (Gmail, part of Google Workspace), which delivers the emails the website sends
- Mailchimp (Intuit), which sends our newsletter
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK
Google and Mailchimp may process your information in the United States. Where they do, it is protected by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the UK’s International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to work: 2 years from our last contact
- Enquiries that become clients: for as long as we work together, then 6 years for our business and tax records
- Newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe
- Server logs: for the short period our host keeps them
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We don’t use cookies for analytics or advertising.
The website only sets cookies that are strictly necessary, for example to keep the site secure and to remember a form you’ve started. Our homepage includes a YouTube video; it sets no cookies until you choose to play it, after which YouTube’s own policy applies.
If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it if it’s wrong
- ask us to delete it
- ask us to restrict or stop using it, including objecting to uses based on our legitimate interests
- withdraw consent at any time, for example to the newsletter
- ask us to transfer information you gave us to another organisation
To use any of these rights, email hello@leadershipcommunicationgroup.com. We’ll reply within one month and won’t charge you.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page when the way we use information changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
